I’m a Mermaid…. Jealous?
In my life I have defied the rules, caused uproar when required and turned the heads and hearts of men and women alike. I love high heels, red lipstick and big hair. However, do not be fooled by my love of femininity and zest for life for being vapid.
Why a Mermaid you ask? Mermaids have one thing in common they do the impossible and swim a path down the road (or sea) less traveled. They represent wild freedom, rebellious spirit and ferocious independence, they can never be contained and frequently avoid settling. Mermaids are enchanting, elusive and rarely seen – I like to think their scarcity is due to shrewd discernment. They know the hearts of all, and are legendary for only appearing to the true of heart.
Dawn and dusk, in the light of the moon, are the times mermaids are seen. These are magical times – when sight and perception becomes fuzzied in mellow dusk glows. It’s ok to be captured by odd, otherworldly music……
Just A Little Night Market was the first in town! Night market is about using my two hands in unison to create a sustainable business that is also a benefit to others. I look forward to each market night never knowing what compelling strangers will come, what I will learn and what tales will be told.
